Hiroko Inoue

Hiroko Inoue of Nara, Japan and also based in Düsseldorf, Germany has spent her life immersed in Japanese culture and is recognized throughout Asia and Europe for her photography and outdoor sculpture. Serving as a Special Advisor for Cultural Exchange for the Government of Japan, Hiroko is captivated by the correlation between how we see ourselves in relation to others and how environmental and social factors mould the invisible boundaries between individuals. Hiroko´s artistic expressions have ranged from painting, video and photography, as well as site-specific installation.
